press release re: METAL MIND PRODUCTION’s re-release of OMP

The re-release of OBSCURE MASTER PLAN through METAL MIND PRODUCTIONS is NOT sanctioned by the band.  It is a release by the labels involved and in my opinion, it is only for the purpose of exploitation and the hope of a little $$.   I would NOT buy this re-release because it does NOT contain any new music or anything worth spending money on.  I engineered and mixed all the masters for OBSCURE MASTER PLAN and personally had the original mixes mastered onto a 16 bit CD master.  The label claims to have re-mastered the disc using "24 bit technology"; that is vauge and meaningless.  In my opinion, no matter how much you process a 16 bit master through "24 bit technology" you still have 16 bit quality product.  It is NOT a CD from a 24 bit master, thus it can never yield true 24 bit quality.

I am in the process of officially re-releasing OBSCURE MASTER PLAN.  Once the deal is finalized all the information will be on www.NewEden.net  the band's official site.  The re-release will be a double CD and will include:  additional photos, graphics, the original CD AND a completely newly re-mixed, not just re-mastered CD of all 10 songs.  The second disc will also contain two demo versions of the songs "LAND OF FILTH & MONEY" and "THE PROMISE" featuring NEW EDEN's previous singer Victor Vaca.  The two demo songs are completely different recordings and are true "must haves" for any true NEW EDEN fan.  Please feel free to spread the news to any NEW EDEN fan you may know of.
